Ch-ch-ch-ch-Changes!

Howdy rockers!

Where does the time go? Seems like just yesterday we had our first band rehearsal, working on our first three songs. A little over a year ago, early December, we had our first show. Didn’t know how the concept of a “semi-acoustic” band would go over, and time and time again we’ve heard what a fresh, cool sounding project we’ve put together. The combination of great songs, harmony vocals, and an acoustic yet powerful sound has gained us a nice following of amazing fans who wanna have a good time, throw their horns up and RAWK!

2016 did see the departure of our founding lead vocalist, Darrell Radke. We miss his humor and sledgehammer voice. Not everything works out in the music biz, so we are currently once again looking to fill the lead vocalist bar stool. Not an easy task finding someone with the right mix of talent, personality and charisma to be Vince Neil, Stephen Pearcy, David Lee Roth, Sebastian Bach, Dee Snider and all the other big voices from the 80’s. However, we always say “this train doesn’t stop”, so we will continue to feature all-star shows, let the four current members do more of the heavy lifting, and renew our search for the perfect fit.

The loss of our friend, Cindee May, hit the rock community pretty hard, but we are seeing such an outpouring of love and support, it makes us proud to be a part of a great group of people doing what they can to help. Every night we perform Motley Crue’s “Girls, Girls, Girls”, Cindee’s spirit is right up on stage with us, belting it out like always.

2017 has a bright future for Strip’d. We’ve begun some great new partnerships to put us in front of a larger audience. New songs are in the works to keep the show fresh, including music from faves like Mr. Big, David Lee Roth, Firehouse, Guns N’ Roses and lots more! Have a favorite band or song you’d like to see us do? Let us know!!!

The boys in Strip’d hope you have an amaze-balls 2017! Hope to see you in the clubs, at the festivals, wherever we can crank it up for you!
